With an objective to create and educate children about the importance and consumption of healthy foods in regular diet, we at Shree Niketan Patasala Vengambakkam organised “Junk Buster Day” on 14th July. Teachers had made interesting and simple conversation on encouraging children to have vegetables and fruits in their meals & explained importance of healthy food for their mental and physical growth. Children were excited to play the maze game and took part in various activities. They went on a rally around the school campus emphasising the fact that vegetables and fruits are better than junk food.
