School parliament aims at building leadership skills in our students by giving them a platform to demonstrate their administrative abilities. Our school Parliament composes of a head boy, a head girl, house captains, Vice captains, CCA Captain and Sports captain who were elected by our students.

Keeping in mind our aim to develop holistic education, we have designed the morning assembly in such a way that it helps students to develop their spiritual, moral, social and their soft skills. Each class is assigned a week to orate, enact, recite and conduct a quiz on a particular theme along with the regular activities like proverbs with their meaning, thought for the day, Thirukkural with meaning, and news reading. We believe that by giving such responsibilities and opportunities, we can build their confidence and eventually help them combat stage fear thereby constructing their self-assurance to face any future challenges.
- The students are divided into four houses named after four great rivers of India.
- Ganga in blue symbolizing youth, spirituality truth and peace.
- Narmada in yellow depicting wisdom, joy, happiness and intellectual.
- Krishna in red reflecting action, confidence, courage and vitality.
- Cauvery in green to symbolize life, nature, Fertility, and wellbeing.
- This system of different houses aims at encouraging ownership, leadership traits, and foster team spirit by conducting
- competitions. Points are given to each house based on their performance, preparation & disciplinary note.
- These practices develop students’ skills, their role in a team and importance of team work & team build.
Students of Shree Niketan Patasala are not only confined within the school activities, but they also learn from outside world through field trips and educational trips.
The Co-Curricular activity as per CBSE norms is certainly helping students to make their mind swift and spontaneous. It helps in building life skills. The activities are planned well in advance facilitating students to prepare for the activity. Students participate with great enthusiasm and find it exciting thus preparing them for a world of tomorrow.

Sports is a very essential part of the students activities in the campus. These activities help in personality development. It helps the students to be physically fit & mentally strong. Our students are trained in both indoor & outdoor games like Cricket, Volley Ball, Basketball, Kabadi, Badminton, Foot Ball, Chess, carom etc
Shree Niketan believes that creative and performing arts enrich people and communities, and are critical to the understanding of global cultures and the common themes that unite societies. It has established clubs and societies with various activities that form an integral part of a holistic programme used to enhance the imagination and creativity in children.
The Hindu student edition along with The Times of India NIE and Pattam newspaper in Education is a valuable program, inclined to develop the student’s skills, talents and knowledge over-all. The Hindu newspaper being issued this academic year will not only help in fulfilling the quest for knowledge but will also help to kindle interest in our students thereby developing a scope for quality reading.
Olympiad and Asset exams which are conducted every year in our school are highly beneficial to students, teachers and parents for assessing the growth and development of skills. These exams are conducted all over Asia and millions of students appear for these examinations. The school has taken special measures to train the participants to achieve various international awards, state awards and special scholarship.
Independence Day, Krishnajayanthi, Onam, Navarathri, Christmas, Vijayadasami and pongal are celebrated in our every year, inculcating the idea of oneness in our country of diversity. Annual day is the stage for all the children to exhibit the talents & to entertain the audience.
