ISRO, Bangalore Trip – 2 days
A total of 50 students and 5 staff representing Shree Niketan Patasala paid a three day visit to Indian Space Research Organizations’ Satellite Centre in Bengaluru on 06.12.2018 as a part of enhancing scientific knowledge through real life activities. Students, went around the centre and watched not only the satellites being assembled, but also interacted with the eminent scientists. Students could witness the important satellites like Chandrayaan-2 and IRS that were under construction at the facility. “It was mind-blowing to actually see these satellites right in front of our eyes and not just read about it in newspapers.Students of ShreeNiketan Patasala had a mesmerising experience in ISKCON temple at Bangalore, on 06.12.2018 which is a hallmark of temples where the modern technologies put used to promote the ancient Indian culture.
Shree Niketan crew adoring the lush green garden on 07.12.18,enjoying the day at Lalbagh which is one of the pride of Bangalore contributing to ‘green city’, stretching over a large area of land showcasing many species of plants. Students interacted with scientists of idea lab which is an innovative hub for the young minds, supported by Govt of India. As the saying says” If I hear, i forge, if i see , i remember and if i do, i understand”,a section of Shree Niketanians got an opportunity to get exposed to gaining experiential knowledge in Science at Vishveshwaraya Technological Museum.
